COMPENSATION: $58,000 - $86,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Bridge Design CAD Technician to join our Bridge/Structural Design team in Oklahoma City. The Bridge Design CAD Technician will be responsible for preparing detailed bridge and structural construction plans using AutoCAD and MicroStation while collaborating with Professional Engineers and technical staff. This role supports a variety of bridge and transportation infrastructure projects throughout Oklahoma and requires strong technical drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce detailed bridge and structural construction plans using MicroStation or AutoCAD.

• Prepare drawings based on sketches, specifications, calculations, and engineering data provided by engineers.

• Develop accurate plan sheets and construction details for bridge and structural projects.

• Perform material quantity takeoffs for project estimates.

• Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to ensure drawings meet project requirements and quality standards.

• Maintain organized project files and manage multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines.

• Complete work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary design team.

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail throughout all phases of project development.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of CAD drafting experience.

• High proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate construction plans.

• Ability to understand and follow technical instructions provided by engineering staff.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in developing bridge construction plans.

• Knowledge of ODOT and municipal bridge design standards.

• Experience working on transportation or bridge infrastructure projects.

• Familiarity with structural drafting and detailing best practices.

• Experience collaborating with Professional Engineers on bridge design projects.
